Tribute to James Brokenshire, 1968 - 2021

I met James several times, the first as a very junior civil servant. I was enormously nervous beforehand but his warmth and kind smile immediately put me at ease. I ended up looking forward to each meeting with James. It broke my heart to hear of his early departure and I send all my love to his family and friends.
