I was elected in 2017 and had the opportunity to meet and raise issues with James, whilst he was at MHCLG. He was always very thoughtful, kind and helpful. I am amazed that he was diagnosed back then and yet still continued to be an active public servant. My thoughts are with his family a huge loss for them and for parliament. God bless 🙏
